Portfolio photoshoot, concerts and my bday!!!

Last week was so much fun and crazy! I had a photoshoot and two shows to go to. I shopped til I dropped on Monday and Tuesday for the shoot and then I went to The Killers’ Secret MySpace Show on Wednesday (which wasn’t quite a secret since I knew about it a week in advance!) That was a great show. They sounded amazing live! Plus I got to hang out with my co-workers from the studio and my best friend, Julie.

On Thursday I had a photoshoot with Denise Truscello from my last shoot in the spring as well as the make-up artist, Mary Rockwood, from The Killers’ shoot. We got some great shots plus Julie took some cool behind the scenes photos like the ones below.

On Saturday I went to another Killers’ show (yea it was a pretty Killer week) and now I’m preparing to move to a new apartment!!! I hate packing but I’m really excited about the new place…Julie and I are roommates now so this new place will give us a lot more room.

Oh yea! My birthday is also on Sept. 4th!! Woohoo! Anyway, that’s all for now….more news to come.

“Sam’s Town” Island Def Jam Listening Party

Hey guys! This is my very first blog! (Outside of Myspace of course ) For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m a singer, songwriter, producer, engineer and model. I started working at a world-class studio in Las Vegas about 8 months ago and it seems like opportunities have just been pouring in. The biggest opportunity is this photo shoot I just did for The Killers’ new album “Sam’s Town”. I am on the cover!

I just went to the “Sam’s Town” listening party last week. It was so amazing to be there and network with the press and a lot of the people from Island Def Jam. They were all really nice and helpful and were really interested in helping me further my career. My mom went with me and made sure we got lot’s of good pictures. Here is one of me and Brandon Flowers (the lead singer).

The night was a lot of fun and was a success as far as meeting people and networking.  I’ll keep you posted!
