Feliz Navidad and Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a great Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! I’ve been at home in Sacramento with my family watching holiday movies and eating lots of food….I gotta get back in the gym haha

(I got my hair straightened! But it’s gonna go back to wild curly as soon as I wash it )

It’s been so nice and relaxing, but I have to get back to Vegas tomorrow because work is going to be crazy! The studio is so busy this upcoming month, but that just means more learning and growing for me so I can’t complain.

I’ve been writing a lot lately. I wrote two new songs in the past couple of weeks and there are more to come. The collaborating is going really well. It’s a change for me to worry only about writing the lyrics and melody and not worrying about putting together the music too. I think it’s making my writing stronger and better because it is all I am focusing on. I recorded one of the new songs at the studio and it sounds great! When it’s all done I might put it up on my MySpace page so look out for that!

It’s all a process. Sometimes it may seem like a slow one, but it is all moving forward in time. I’m just staying focused and pushing ahead. This year has given me some great surprises and opportunities that I never would have imagined last year so I’m really excited to see what 2007 has waiting for me. I’m putting a new demo together, building my network, and just continuing to learn. I’m glad I can share this journey. I hope you are all living life to the fullest! I love hearing what other people are doing too so feel free to share in your comments! Gotta run to the gym and then shopping at all the sales!
